Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. Here is the short version: no sign-up, your calculation data never leaves your browser. We use Google Analytics and show ads via a third-party ad network.
1No personal data collected
Toolist does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information. There is no sign-up and no login.
2All calculations run in your browser
Every tool on Toolist processes your input locally in your browser. Your numbers, text, and files are never sent to any server. Once you close the tab, the data is gone.
3Local storage
Some features — such as recently used tools and bookmarks — use your browser's localStorage to persist preferences across sessions. This data lives entirely on your device and is never transmitted to us.
4Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymised data about page views and tool usage — for example, which tools are opened most often. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect your IP address and browser information. This data is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy. We use this data solely to improve the site; we do not use it to identify individual users.
5Tool usage tracking
We track which tools are used and how frequently. This data is aggregated and anonymised — it tells us 'the GST calculator was used 500 times today', not who used it. No input values (numbers, text, files) are ever logged.
6Advertising
Toolist displays ads served by a third-party advertising network. Ad providers may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. This may include interest-based or personalised advertising. We do not pass your calculation data or any personally identifiable information to advertisers. You can opt out of personalised ads through your browser settings or your ad provider's opt-out page.
7Cookies
Cookies are set by Google Analytics (session tracking), our ad service (ad personalisation), and by us (your theme preference). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work as expected.
8Third-party services
We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) for usage analytics and a third-party ad network to serve advertisements. Each provider operates under their own privacy policy. We do not sell or rent your data to any party outside of what is described in this policy.
9Children
Toolist is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
10Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date below. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
